The Burnley Wind Farm Giant Blades arrive on special roads and with Mega Lorries
These are the new roads the Turbine companies build for you so they can get their out-size loads into place. Look at the mess they make. Then the "normal" roads have to be closed with Police escort while the mega-loads trundle along. Wonderful?
This is the desolation on the moors above Todmorden/Burnley
Some people are looking forward to the new roads the company will build them in Lincolnshire. they're not new Dual-carriage ways just tracks across the fields to get the loads in.

The Monuments Men
watched The Monuments Men. OK. Seemed like the Expendables set in the second world war. not as much action. 5/10.
Enders Game
watched Enders Game. funny earlier we were discussing the Americans bombing Japan. after the first 2 A bombs they threatened annihilation. What if they had? does anyone have any moral/ethical right tp wipe put any people?
good film, worth watching for teens. 7/10

No to Asserby windfarm - objection
Look - as far as I can tell this table is relatively accurate.
Wind Generators get paid ROCs and the Wholesale price of Electricity, per Megawatt.
they have been falling slowly but you can see there are Millions at stake here.
Say it costs £1million per turbine to build, wish I had the odd million and a few acres to build on!!
Anyway assuming the Turbines are only 30% efficient (the wind doesn't blow all the time) they'll get (at today's prices) over £500,000 a year - per turbine so for 4 over the 25 years £56million plus - that's if prices don't go up - will they?
I say its a Criminal Swindle to the Taxpayers
What do you think?

cliff Richard
whatever its wrong trial by media. in rape cases the woman has anonimety not the accused. why not? Nothing to stop malicious accusations.

RIP Robin Williams
Sad news about Robin Williams he's been around as long as I can remember. Also Lauren Bacall RIP.
However please will people realise Depression can be a terminal illness - Depression Kills people.
Why is the NHS spending so little on treating mental illness?
Shocking and shamefull.

Electric Vehicle Grant
So HMG are offering a grant to get an Electric Car Charging point installed in your house. Great! Of course a) you need to own an Electric Car and b) be able to get it close enough to plug it in! Supposing that you can afford an Electric Car which cost over £10k more than the equivalent normal one.
Small mercies eh?
But this is the way forward. No silly cables - just like now we have mobile phones that don't need wiring up.
INDUCTION.
Electric Buses already working in Milton Keynes - using INDUCTION

sanctions on arms supplies to Isis
i think everyone would agree that we should stop arming the Isis rebels. have you noticed the trucks they are using are Toyotas. its blatantly obvious does Toyota want this publicity? if the world turned against them, would agree it make a difference ? Sometimes big business has more power than governments.
