Reportedly Cyber Criminals are getting into your living room so Cumbria's Police Crime Commissioner is doubling his Cyber Crime budget. good but last year when I reported two attack s of Ransomware on my school last year, all they could do was give me a crime number. Even though I had plenty of evidence to add, not interested. It's only by collecting intelligence and working with our European crime agencies can we tackle the criminals behind it. Remember their attacks over the internet can strike thousands but it only takes a fraction to succumb for it to be worthwhile.
They want you to pay a ransom in Bitcoins, you have to contact them. The website's used were traceable and identifiable. They have to be registered somewhere with IP addresses. They are allocated to countries/organisations, they can be traced. I know they NAT them and use proxies but in my book anyone translating these addresses should be shut down. They'd soon stop allowing it. They need the legitimate business. If they don't block their countries. They'd soon find them and lock them up. Easy.

I predict a yes. Not logical but the people are fed up. Aren't we all. Like we'd vote to come out of Europe.

Marriage tax breaks as Cameron caves
Oh dear Cameron may be bowing to pressure and insisting on the "promised" tax breaks to married couples?
I hope so.
After all it WAS in the manifesto, (I think so was a vote on the EU). Gay marriage wasn't. So do we believe him?
Maybe he's worried that middle of the road voters have seen though sCamerons' ploy and the next election may not be so good. This is just the tonic to get him those extra votes?
Maybe.
We'll see - lets see if the Tories can be believed?

More energy Woe
So more folk are struggling with their energy bills? Surprise!
So any way this Government gives back 5p in the pound tax to those on £100k plus and now wants £3 a week from everyone to fund the ghastly Wind Turbines? (as I've said before - what do we do when the wind doesn't blow?). If you're on say £200k he's given you back £5000. That would pay my GAS and Electric for 5 years (at todays prices). Yet in that $1000 is £50 tax. Surely he can get his £3 a week from the rich not the poorest? As I always say in this economic fiasco the fairest way to raise money would be 1p on income tax across the board.
Mr C (Cameron) thinks the EU is in a parallel universe but what about him?
If you're on a fixed income (pensioner) and trying to heat your home doesn't he realise that there is 5% VAT on energy, not to mention the GREEN levy. So when the Energy companies hike their prices the Government gets an even bigger share. Surely this TAX on the poorest is unfair? If you're in arrears you can's switch, and if you're on a pre payment meter (usually the poorest folk), you pay the highest prices.
