Reportedly Cyber Criminals are getting into your living room so Cumbria's Police Crime Commissioner is doubling his Cyber Crime budget. good but last year when I reported two attack s of Ransomware on my school last year, all they could do was give me a crime number. Even though I had plenty of evidence to add, not interested. It's only by collecting intelligence and working with our European crime agencies can we tackle the criminals behind it. Remember their attacks over the internet can strike thousands but it only takes a fraction to succumb for it to be worthwhile.
They want you to pay a ransom in Bitcoins, you have to contact them. The website's used were traceable and identifiable. They have to be registered somewhere with IP addresses. They are allocated to countries/organisations, they can be traced. I know they NAT them and use proxies but in my book anyone translating these addresses should be shut down. They'd soon stop allowing it. They need the legitimate business. If they don't block their countries. They'd soon find them and lock them up. Easy.

Who are you?
Who are you, as a species we identify each other by our faces. When you can't see someone's face you are instinctively suspicious.
Now I fully support anyone's right to wear what they want within reason. So for example covering your face is not allowed in rioting, and motorcyclist's are asked to remove their helmets on entering banks. So what about police we can't identify? Suppose its fair enough when they are in riot gear but the rest, shouldn't we have the right to recognize them? So no veils etc. Sorry. This is Britain.
So some people don't get it, they ARE, using the dress as a religious statement and in the context of French rules that is the issue. Not WHAT you wear.

Councillors - what do they actually do?
Look at this the record speaks for itself. Gets elected and draws the "allowance" - I think its just "thumbing the nose" at the electors. What do you think?
The Government seems hell bent on stifling Councils of money. and I do ask, why do Councils run all these services like, emptying bins, social care and welfare, schools, child care, homelessness? Surely they are national services like the Job Centres etc, why shouldn't agencies run them on behalf of the Government. They can set the rules and guidelines like the Police and take them off Councils. they then can be left with a little money raised locally do to do "local" things for the Community. Councillors should be genuinely "Volunteers" and just get token expenses.
What do you think. As it stands they "run" these councils and are a bunch of Political amateurs who misappropriate and mismanage the millions that they have (much like the BBC and that's unelected).

End of the Road for the Middle Lane Hoggers
YES FRIDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO HOG THE MIDDLE LANE AND GET AWAY WITH IT!
At least it will be if we ever see any police patrols on the Motorways. Where are they?
I don't see them. That's why folk use Mobile phones - at least here in rural Lincolnshire you're chance of being caught is NIL. No Police see.
I'd love to see the Rules enforced - ALL of THEM. But they won't be. So why worry. They need Cameras to catch you via your number plate. Maybe they'll use an App that can track your movements in real time via your mobile phone GPS signal SOMEDAY then they can see if you're speeding as well. These Law Breakers can kill people.
Remember Big Brother Can Watch you!!
It could happen.
What did I say - look Rubbish bins secretly setup to scan your phone. they track where you are. They say its anonymous but really if its linked back to a database they can link to you via your phone's IMEI code etc.

PCC Elections
The Police Crime Commissioner Elections on Thursday.
Most complaints were about not knowing who the candidates were or anything about them. Here most people had had only one candidate leaflet through the door, that is the three others sent nothing out. There has been little in the media about the election and what it is for. Just think about general elections where we have Party Political broadcasts etc.
Overall it is a shame people don't vote when we have striven so hard over the last 100 years to maintain and develop our democracy. It would be a different story if people couldn't vote?
