So Skegness is the most deprived seaside town, so says the ONS.
I agree with Cllr Byford, there is no Industry in East Lindsey. The biggest developers (by far by money spent) are the Windfarms but where are the jobs?
They bring in contractors to build and maintain them. All, we get (the residents) is the pain and no gain.
People of the UK rise up against these unfair taxes. 15%on your bills to help these conglomerates rake in the millions by building useless windfarms

Energy Price Hike - what should Dave do?
Now we are being hit, just when the winter begins. Last winter was bad enough I guess our bills went up by around 15% because of the cold.
On my bill there is approximately 15% that is Tax. 5% is VAT the rest is the Social Payment! That is what they pay to the Windfarm Gold Miners.
OBSCENE. Pensioners and people on beneits are Taxed to make greedy landowners ever RICHER. Robbing the poor to make the rich richer,
Have I mentioned the MILLIONS that the Windfarm owners GENERATE in income?

4 x Turbines producing 10MWh
Even at 30% efficiency over 25 years they GENERATE
£61 million!!
Not to mention if they're in the wrong place and can't export their power the owners get even MORE in CONSTRAINT payments.
Appallingly obscene.

NO to ASSERBY WINDFARM
I'm outraged about a plan to put 4 huge windturbines withinn 2 miles of my house on the beautiful unspoilt Lincolnshire coast. Just between the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (designated) and the Coastal Country Park (Coastal Grazing Marshes) a protected historic landscape.

Environmental Impact Assessment (E.E.C. Directive 85/337/E.E.C. as amended by Council Directive 97/11E.C.) for a scoping opinion with respect to the proposed Asserby Wind Farm.
EnergiKontor UK is behind this plan a multi-national multi-billion poound company.
They are behind the recently passed at appeal Gayton Le Marsh farm
They are giving the local parishes £60000 between them as their 30 pieces of silver. What a betrayal.
You cannot buy a view, but you can take it away. The view will be gone for over a Generation. For some people that will be a lifetime. Yes I know the GREEN arguments and yes something should be done.
We can stop being greedy! Energy consumption can be reduced. Theri is solar and nuclear and tidal.
I would want at least FREE Electricity for life to persuade me to sell my view.
