Well done Disney. Wire free charging.
WiFi charging is not new. It was discovered by Tesla, (the 18th century scientist not the electric car company that pinched his name), patented by Faraday over 100 years ago. Advances now make it feasible. I predicted years ago that this principle would be developed into practical technology. Next step, no need for batteries! Power picked up from WiFi. Electric cars, no cables. Power picked up in the road. In years to come we'll laugh at these silly cables for charging cars for hours.

Not Electric cars - run them on water!
Toyota has the right idea a fuel cell car powered by Hydrogen. Electric cars - plugging them in is like old phones before Mobiles were invented. Won't catch on, or they can crack the "induction power charging"?
What they need is to be generating the Hydrogen from water - using solar power. Maybe just a top up at home - generate your own hydrogen from solar power all day every day. Fill up when you get home. Or they'll come up with solid Hydrogen, like say "beads"that you don't need a pressurised tank for - much safer.
Who knows?

BBC advertises Apple
Why should the BBC give Apple - one of the biggest companies in the world free advertising?
Scandalous. I thought that they weren't allowed to advertise - is it in their Charter?
I wonder who's palm was greased?
BBC - not elected by us, takes £3.5 billion off us to do what it likes!

BBC to Free up Programmes
Wish they would just Free Up TV Viewing!!
SELL OFF THE BBC
Why should we have entertainment onthe Rates? Its our Taxes paying the 33billion a year for the State Run TV Maker.
Isn't this a scandal, when the NHS is running out of money?

Life sentence?
How can it be that a prisoner serving multiple life sentences is allowed "out" of an open prison - less than 12 years afterwards ? How long is LIFE one may ask.

Free Electricity - this IS the answer to the Fuel Crisis?
Free Saturday Electricity- Just
a gimmick – should be outlawed. These folk will just gorge themselves on power.
How can it make sense? We should all be trying to use LESS electricity. British Gas should reduce prices for everyone. This tariff will be banned.
Solar panels
is the answer, everyone should have them. During daylight all my electricity is
virtually free (and green). Make use of that, don’t be a Saturday Planet
burner.
The Chancellor missed atrick or two today.
5% VAT on home energy - why not abolish it on the first £1500 of bills? WE all have to pay our buills even those on Benefits but because of "Standing Charges" the less you use the more you pay proportionately in TAX. This husrts the poor trying to economise - is that fair. Those on benfits pay often the highest prices especially if they are on a pre-pay meter. The VAT goes up as prices go up. Mr Millionaire doesn't care.
Then there's the GREEN TAX, about 15% goes to pay these muti-billion pound companies raping our countryside witrh subsidised Wind Turbines.
You do realise they get twice the market rate for what they generate (whether it is used or not) and even more when they can't sell it!! Check this out!
What about the BBC? £600million is the cost of Free TV Licences for Pensioners over 75. OK for them but why? Why should anyone pay an ertertainment tax? £145 per houshold to watch TV . But that would lose votes from the over 75's but not if we all were exempt.
Mr OSbourne PRIVATISE THE BBC SAVE US ALL £145 A YEAR. (£32billion a year cost).Does SKY get a subsidy? It might even generate a windfall like selling the Post Office. Come on State Funded Entertainment is NOT a Conservative policy is it. If it were tried now it be laughed out of parliament.

Dishonesty meanness
People that know me may consider me mean but i like value for money, a good deal, not stealing . So today at Bowlees Visitor centre the car park was "free" they asked for donations. £2suggested but it was a car park in the national park, toilets, picnic area, walks and a visitor Centre. Some folk parked, looked at the car park charges muttering I'm not paying and walked off! not paying its disgusting . surely they could afford something, £1 is not too much for the facilities. Otherwise its just plain mean if not dishonest. How Will these places survive?

About time they Privatised the BBC
Then they can do what they like. This is our money. How dare Lord Hall say its Value for money. I DON'T WANT TO PAY ANYTHING!
THIS IS AN ENTERTAINMENT (?) TAX.
Lord Hall has been keen to argue that the BBC provides value for money and in a speech to the Oxford Media Convention last week he said a BBC survey had shown that some viewers would happily pay between £15 and £20 a month, compared to the £12 currently paid.
If it was your local council paying 6 figure sums to staff they'd soon be sacked. How does the BBC get away with it? It has got to stop. I choos NOT to watch SKy. but they don't cost the taxpayer anything. Let the BBC stand in th ecommercial world I say.
They could provide 1 public service TV and radio channel from general taxation. Let every household be £145.50 better off - we need it for our fuel bills.

Free Electricity from British Gas?
Absolutely ridiculous - "Free Elctricity at weekends".
Are we saving the planet or not?
You know what will happen - folk will blast it at the weekend wthout a care. All this energy comes from somewhere. BG hope you'll forget and continue to have the thermostat up in the week. More profit for them.
Yes SUPPLY=DEMAND - laws of Physics. So huge power stations like Drax (Coal fired) and the Nuclear ones have to run 24x7 they can't switch on and off. Its the BASE load. But we go to bed at night and switch off. We all put the kettle on at half time in the World Cup etc. Solar power is only during the day (light), wind power only works when its windy. So what do the suppliers do - they match the peaks and troughs with Gas powered stations that can go on and off quickly but they are expensive and Gas is not so plentiful.
Unless we get Fracking!
It won't work. We need to conserve energy. What next - only allowed to wash at weekends. Only allowed to boil the kettle when its Windy?
What they need to do is sort out the Grid infrastructure so the power can get to where it is needed. Windmills in the Sea need big cables to get the power to the Cities. We must STOP the Constraint payments. Paying the Companies NOT to Generate - that's what its about. They get 3 times as much NOT generating than when they do. If we didn't have the GREEN subsidy on our bills then there's be no Wind Turbines 'cos they don't make economic sense. Then ALL our bills would be cheaper.

Don't want Horsemeat Burgers?
If you don't want Horse-meat Burgers then don't buy burgers from your Supermarket.
Support your local butcher get his minced beef or better buy your meat and mince it (or get him to mince it - he will).
We exclusively buy all our meat from our local butcher.
Don't tell me he's dearer that the Supermarket 'cos he isn't.

Don't tell me he's dearer that the Supermarket 'cos he isn't.
- If you get to know him he "treats you"
- If you buy regularly and in quantity he may discount it
- His chickens aren't pumped up with water
- less waste on his meat
- He's local, less food miles, you don't have to travel miles to his shop.
- Our butcher delivers free.
- Actually his prices are comparable with Supermarkets AND his meat is better quality
Our local butcher Bennetts Butchers Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire.
I highly recommend him, especially his own made Lincolnshire Sausages.

Water power - why not?
So we've had the wettest 2012 since records began, so isn't it time we found a use for this water?
2 things - tidal power and Hydro-electricity.
So why don't we harness the tidal power? The tide goes in and out twice a day GUARANTEED.
Then all this water that fell on us, build some dams up in the hills and make it generate electricity as it flows out? You never know it might protect the valleys below.

Miliband's Solar swindle?
Is it Miliband's Solar swindle? No its not a Solar swindle.
It is in fact a brave and revolutionary attempt to move the masses away from dependency on Fossil fuels which ultimately will bankrupt the country and poison the planet.
What would you rather have, a poisoned planet or a green and pleasant land where energy was inconsequential to your everyday life? We've had the dash for Gas and look where that has got us. Within ten years if we don't do something radical the lights will start to go out!
What has been wrong is two things, the scheme looks initially overgenerous in Feed in payments, but remember the cost of installation has halved as demand has risen so perhaps just a miscalculation Secondly the scheme has been hi-jacked by commercial profiteers - especially "Rent-a-roof" schemes.
Genuinely we need to kick start the domestic Green Energy industry. I think if things stabilise then domestic Solar power has got off the ground. The same cannot be said for Wind Turbines. There is much opposition to their appearance though I believe we must accept them up to a point just like telegraph poles.
I sincerely hope that the day will come when all homes are built with Solar panels and a wind turbine We have to get cheaper energy.
